Fact: Arab Palestinians NOT against fascism Mustafa Abbasi’s thesis attempts to recast the history of Palestinian Arab involvement in World War II into a story of broad anti-Nazi commitment and shared Arab-Jewish resistance. The historical record does not support that conclusion. Yes, thousands of Palestinian Arabs enlisted in the British Army during WWII. That fact is real and documented. But Abbasi’s interpretation of what that enlistment meant politically and socially collapses under scrutiny. The first problem is scale. Jewish enlistment dwarfed Arab enlistment. Roughly 27,000–30,000 Jews from Mandatory Palestine volunteered for British service, while Arab recruitment figures ranged closer to 9,000–12,000. Caitríona Perry anchoring BBC News America, May 29, 2025.  Perry advocates for Hamas and tries the Pallyweid drama language but for once, is pushed back.  She begins with repeating what "Hamas official" argues why they can't agree to ceasefire Netanyahu agreed to [beacuse they want a guarantee of not resuming the war after 60 days], presents them as of equal and normal side in the war.  She interviews David Satterfield of the Baker Institute. She asks Satterfield about UN objecting the US/Israel GHF and his opinion about it. He replies that we should encourage any food entering. [She misses the point of playing politics while they all say, the situation there is desperate].  Then the BBC anchor tries something else. She plays the rhetoric and hyperbolic terminology (such as the G word) to see maybe he will budge. And asks if the US can force Netanyahu... But Satterfield tells her "let's remind your listeners" whose fault it is there's no ceasefire...

Oh, look, discredited Feroze Sidhwa gives "testimony" at UN, no less.

Feroze Sidhwa, a long timer anti-Israel activist, at least since 2005, poses today at UN as some kind of "objective" opinion to rail against Israel via statements he claims to have "seen" in Gaza and happily interviewed by BBC.  Here is a June 2005 screenshot of Sidhwa propaganda at the infamous E.I. - Ali Abunimah blog.     In his hit piece in NYT in Oct. 2024 , already shredded online for his falsehood, he replied with another lie, denying Hamas uses civilians.  "New York Times Guest Essay Shredded Online After Claiming IDF Targets Gazan Children."
